ABOUT THE BRAND
Keith Taylor - Founder & Creative Director of Walker & Wells, originally from California, now calls the Nor’east his home. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography & worked for over 20 years for the Timberland company, where he led the brand experience through trade shows, showrooms, brand events & fixture & retail store design.
Walker & Wells’ unique, humble & passionate reason for being is twofold: First, to honor Keith’s grandfather (Walker) & father (Wells), both of whom inspired his sense of entrepreneurship & reverence for craft; second, to be an outlet for emotional storytelling through the creation of images, objects, & spaces. His passion for the environment is reflected in the core values: RETHINK, REDUCE, RECYCLE & REMAKE. The less we use, the better it is for the environment, whether it be natural or human resources. Reducing consumption & our overall carbon footprint are small steps with a big impact.
RECYCLE >
It’s all about choices & we choose to use only materials that have been or can be recycled or reclaimed, ensuring a thoughtful relationship with the environment.
REMAKE >
Repurposing & finding new life in flea market and salvage yard finds drives the creative spirit found in each of our one-of-a-kind statement pieces, creating less landfill waste in the process.
